Monday, October 27, 2025 Coalition for Partnership in Democratic Development (CPDD) organized a four-day training course on “Organizational Capacity Development for Local Non-Governmental Organizations and Local Community Organizations” under the Global Environment Facility Small Grants Program. The training course aims to strengthen the institutional and operational capacity of NGOs and local community organizations to design, implement, and monitor projects related to the environment and the Global Environment Facility themes in a transparent and accountable manner. The participants were from the National Steering Committee, NGOs, local community organizations, trainers and the CPDD Alliance Secretariat, a total of 50 people, 16 of whom were women.
As a result, after the training, all participants had a better understanding of the important lessons that the trainers shared from
- Vulnerability Reduction Assessment (VRA) planning and preparation
- Financial management
- Project management and results-based planning (RBP)
- Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL).
