On December 24, 2024, the CPDD's implementing partners hosted a successful Project Reflection Workshop in Banlung municipality, Ratanakiri Province. The workshop brought together a diverse group of key stakeholders, including local authorities, youth representatives, civil society organizations (CSOs), and citizens, all eager to reflect on the outcomes of the project and discuss its future direction.

The primary purpose of the workshop was to review the achievements of the project, assess the lessons learned throughout its implementation, and explore strategies for its sustainability moving forward. As part of the reflection process, participants had the opportunity to engage in discussions that helped identify the most impactful activities and outcomes, as well as any challenges encountered during the project’s execution. This collaborative evaluation process was crucial in ensuring that the project’s successes are built upon while addressing areas for improvement.

A key highlight of the workshop was the presentation on Yobol.org, a platform dedicated to promoting digital engagement, particularly among youth. The presentation showcased how Yobol.org has enabled young people to actively participate in the democratic process and contribute their feedback on local governance issues. The digital platform was highlighted as an innovative tool for fostering greater civic engagement, helping bridge the gap between young citizens and local authorities by providing an accessible and interactive way to voice their opinions and concerns.

In addition to reviewing the progress made, the workshop also focused on developing a clear sustainability plan to ensure the continued success of the project after its completion. Discussions centered on how to maintain and expand the initiatives, strengthen partnerships, and ensure that the positive impacts of the project can be sustained over the long term.
