On November 21, 2024, the CPDD Coalition hosted an insightful introductory talk on the Yobol.org website at Wat Damnak Primary School in Siem Reap. This event was designed to familiarize local community members, including students, teachers, and residents, with the functionality and impact of Yobol.org—a platform that encourages civic engagement and transparency.

During the session, participants were introduced to the various features of the Yobol.org website, which allows citizens to share their feedback and concerns with local authorities and track progress in their communities. The talk also emphasized the importance of citizen participation in local governance and the role that feedback forms play in strengthening democratic processes.

A significant part of the discussion focused on how to effectively create and implement actionable plans for sharing citizen input both within local communities and across social media platforms. This strategy aims to boost visibility and ensure that community voices are heard by relevant decision-makers. Attendees were encouraged to think creatively about ways to integrate civic feedback into community development efforts, ensuring that it leads to real improvements.

Furthermore, the program aimed to raise awareness about the practical aspects of using civic feedback forms on the Yobol.org platform, offering guidance on how individuals can submit feedback and contribute to a transparent and accountable governance system. By focusing on these tools, the event sought to empower citizens and enhance their ability to actively participate in shaping the future of their communities.
The workshop successfully provided both an educational and collaborative space where participants could exchange ideas, discuss local governance issues, and work together to create more effective ways to use citizen feedback for positive change.
