CPDD and Youth Volunteers Join Insight Technology Event to Promote Yobol.org

On November 10, 2024, CPDD, in collaboration with youth volunteers from Kampong Cham, participated in the Insight Technology event themed “The Next Generation,” alongside UNDP. The event served as an excellent platform to introduce and promote Yobol.org, a digital platform designed to foster civic engagement and transparency through feedback from the public.

During the event, CPDD and the volunteers showcased videos featuring young influencers, along with distributing flyers to inform attendees about the platform and its role in enhancing communication between citizens and local authorities. The event attracted a wide audience, including youth from targeted regions such as Kampong Cham, Siem Reap, and Ratanakiri, who were eager to engage with the platform.

One of the highlights of the day was the interactive participation of the youth, who actively engaged by scanning QR codes that linked them directly to Yobol.org. Many attendees took the opportunity to share their feedback, contributing to the platform’s growing impact and reinforcing the importance of youth involvement in shaping local governance.

A special shoutout goes to the young influencer who led exciting "walk & talk" sessions and interactive games throughout the event. These activities not only boosted visibility but also sparked enthusiasm among participants, creating a fun and engaging environment that encouraged further involvement with Yobol.org. The influencer’s dynamic presence played a key role in amplifying the message and generating excitement about the platform’s potential for creating a more transparent and accountable governance system.

The event successfully raised awareness about Yobol.org, fostering deeper connections between youth, the platform, and the community, and laying the groundwork for continued engagement and feedback from the public.
