On the morning of November 22, 2024, CPDD, in collaboration with UNDP, convened an important advisory board meeting focused on the digital platform, Yobol.org, at the UNDP office. This meeting brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including representatives from the Ministry of Health, the Phnom Srey Organization for Development, the NCDD Secretariat, the CPDD team, and a UNDP observer, all gathered to discuss the future of the platform and its alignment with the needs of key community stakeholders.
The primary aim of the meeting was to introduce potential advisory board members and provide them with an overview of Yobol.org’s functionality, mission, and goals. The platform, which is designed to promote citizen engagement, transparency, and accountability, is an essential tool for improving governance and fostering more inclusive participation in public decision-making processes. During the meeting, attendees were encouraged to offer feedback and suggestions on how Yobol.org can better serve its users and meet the evolving needs of the community.
This advisory board meeting marked an important milestone in the development of Yobol.org, ensuring that the platform continues to evolve based on the needs and priorities of its users, while reinforcing the collective efforts of all parties involved in strengthening democratic processes and community engagement.
