Phnom Penh: On the morning of Thursday, July 25, 2024, the Coalition for Partnership in Democratic Development signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National School of Local Administration of the Ministry of Interior on strengthening collaboration in research, education, and training.
H.E. Kol Vireak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Interior, and Mr. Son Penh, Executive Director of the Coalition for Partnership in Democratic Development, presided over the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding. The Memorandum of Understanding states that it will uphold the principles of consultation, unity, equality, fairness, and mutual benefit in order to foster close cooperation and mutual support between the parties involved in education, training, research, and project implementation.
For a period of five years (from 2024 to 2029), this agreement will permit the two parties to cooperate and offer mutual aid in accordance with six fundamental principles, including: 1. Personnel and researcher exchanges; 2. Joint training and curriculum development 3. Starting and carrying out collaborative projects or research; 4. Sharing knowledge, insights, and findings from research; 5. Taking part in and arranging a range of workshops, seminars, and events. 6. Collaboration in bolstering resources and/or other avenues, and 7. Encouraging additional collaboration as decided.
