Background

COMMUNITY TRAINING ORGANIZATION FOR DEVELOPMENT (referred to as CTOD) is a Non-Governmental Organization, non-profit organization established in July 2018 by the Former executive director and program manager of the national and international organization and a group of students from universities in Battambang.

Vision

Our vision is to improve the prospects of children, young people and their families, and disadvantaged people in the community through informal education and community development.

Mission

Our mission is to offer complimentary education to disadvantaged children and their communities. Through delivering educational programs like language courses, computer literacy, and vocational training, our goal is to empower individuals and foster the growth of resilient, stronger communities.

Goal

CTOD seeks to align with the Royal Government of Cambodia in realizing a society where individuals live in dignity, unity, transparency, autonomy, and peace, and actively pursue gender equality and sustainability.

Objective

To align with the Royal Government of Cambodia’s Rectangular Strategy for the country’s development.To offer opportunities for disadvantaged individuals to enhance their living standards and achieve self-sufficiency.Improve food security for children of disadvantaged families.Provide knowledge on agriculture, bolstering the capabilities of farmers and providing necessary agricultural materials.Improve the quality of education at primary and secondary levels by strengthening the capacity of teachers, and school support committees, and providing study materials to schools and students.To educate communities on primary health, environmental education, informal and non-formal education, access to clean water, and the impact of climate change.To advance vocational training for young people and promote good governance practices.Core Values
