Background
Cambodian Organization for Children and Development (COCD) is a non-governmental, non_x0002_political, non-profit and non-religious organization creating lasting change in the lives of children in remote areas of Cambodia. The organization was established in 2008 by a group of Cambodian development professionals with technical support from Terre des Hommes Germany, and officially registered with the Ministry of Interior in March 2008. Recognized and well-known for our strong commitment to child safeguarding, accountability, innovation and collaboration, professionally, our integrated work takes us into the heart of communities, where we help children and families assist themselves.

Objective
COCD aims to improve the quality of life for vulnerable and abused children in Cambodia. This involves addressing the structural causes of poverty, inequality, social exclusion, and child abuse. The organization works directly with children, families, and communities to achieve its goals. COCD encourages social change to tackle the root causes of issues affecting children. They work in remote areas of Cambodia to reach those most in need.
